Blind Date

161'
10 guests, 10 crew
Launched in
October 2009, the 161' semi-displacement yacht BLIND DATE was custom-built to
the exacting requirements of an experienced yacht owner. The spacious deck areas
and elegant interior were designed for total relaxation and escape; you know
you're on vacation the minute you step on board. At the same time, the latest in
communications systems ensure that you are never out of touch with the outside
world unless you choose to be.
For those who adore watersports but don't have a jetski lisence, please note
that BLIND DATE is now an RYA-recognised training centre. The captain and his
three deck crew are qualified to teach charter guests how to use the yacht's
waverunners properly and to issue a recognized lisence to operate the equipment
whilst under qualified supervision. Two other crew members passed as personal
watercraft operators and are therefore qualified to act as supervisors on the
water. Any charter guests over the age of 12 can complete the Personal
Watercraft Superyacht Course from the comfort of their own yacht and under the
instruction of a crew they are familiar with. It only takes 1-2 hours and is a
fun, practical way for them to achieve the licence they need to use the yacht's
powerful watersports equipment legally and safely. Another advantage of
chartering BLIND DATE! Finally, in May 2010, BLIND DATE was presented with
a Judges' Special Commendation at the prestigious World Superyacht Awards in
London. In making this commendation, the judges acknowledged her innovative
layout, level of equipment and build quality: all features that made her stand
out from the other yachts in her class
